Beta Puppy School was founded by Mary Driscoll in 1986. 

Mary  was very involved with our local Humane Society and was seeing a large number of young dogs being relinquished due to behavioral problems.  At that time, there were no puppy schools in Calgary.  She contacted a friend in the USA, put a program together and Beta Puppy School was born.

Beta Puppy School has been offering positive reinforcement, food motivated, puppy socialization classes at the Richmond Knobhill community Association in S.W. Calgary ever since.  I have been an instructor at Beta since 1990.
